100% Organic Cotton Comforter (USA)

Made from a single layer of certified organic cotton batting that is quilted to a soft & smooth organic cotton fabric casing. Its year-round, 4-season weight is great for most regions of the US and Canada except for the very coldest parts (for which we recommend doubling up with a blanket or two or going for our organic wool comforter which is much warmer). Our organic cotton comforter is vegan through and through (no animal products whatsoever). Perfect for vegans. It is ideal for folks who don't need much help keeping warm.

Get your 100% organic cotton comforter now- no wonder it’s so popular, as it checks all boxes of purity, comfort and ethical materials and production right here in the USA.

This all-natural comforter is made of 100% organic cotton only. Unlike most other comforters sold, our cotton is not treated with any chemicals, bleached, or fumigated. As a result, it retains an initial smell of natural cotton stemming from the natural oils present in the plant fiber. This smell will naturally dissipate over time, with exposure to oxygen. This smell is direct proof of the purity of our cotton, which makes it suitable to chemically sensitive people - it’s the absence of any detectable natural smell that should worry customers of cotton products, as that indicates the use of chemical treatment of the fiber or garment.

Option to add on 100% organic cotton duvet cover, variably made in US or EU depending on stock. For Twin, Queen, and King, the duvet cover is organic cotton sateen. For Twin XL, Full, and California King there is a choice of 100% organic cotton sateen and reversible sateen and twill.

Are truly natural products scent-free?

No, because most if not all natural things have scents. We must distinguish between natural and synthetic smells. A tomato leaf has a scent, a rose petal has a scent, organic cotton fiber has a scent. Most manufacturers use acids and chemicals instead of the organic and natural cleaning materials that we use, because we strive to make our products as natural as possible.

You may notice a smell when you unpack your new comforter. This is the smell of the natural fibers, all of which contain natural oils. The smell will dissipate quickly over time, and faster so with exposure to fresh air.
