Organic hemp pot holders and oven mitts that are 100% organic and 100% biodegradable. World's first and only 100% biodegradable plastic-free, polyester-free, fire retardant-free, PVC-free, chemical-free organic hemp oven mitt and pot holder with 100% organic cotton fill. Organic cotton thread. Matching organic hemp oven mitt also available. Untreated. Made in-house. Sweatshop-free.

Hemp Pot Holder & Oven Mitt

World's first and only all-natural and pure organic European hemp pot holder! Matching organic hemp oven mitt also available.

Our all-natural Vegan Organic Hemp Pot Holder and Sets of Pot Holder + Oven Mitt come in a choice of Natural (unbleached, undyed) or Natural/Leaf Print; Ivory/Leaf Print; Lime; Black Platinum; Bora Bora Green; Sunset Orange; Earth Brown (low-impact biodegradable dye).

Our eco-friendly Loch Maron Vegan Organic Hemp Pot Holder is made in-house at the Rawganique Atelier from start to finish: we cultivate long-strand untreated hemp fibers, comb them mechanically into long-strand fibers (without using acids as it common done), weave the organic hemp yarns into a pure hemp fabric, then sew it into a simple and elegant hemp pot holder. We line our hemp potholder with 100% organic cotton fleece as padding for purity. We do not use any polyester fill and we do not use any chemical fire retardants. If you need a pot holder with fire retardants, this is not the product for you.

Our organic hemp pot holders measure approximately 6.5" square. Unbleached & undyed. Our hemp pot holder is ideal for customers looking to avoid chemicals and synthetics in their everyday life as well as those who are chemically sensitive allergic to latex or polyester fill and chemical fire retardants. Our hemp pot holder is elastic-free, plastic-free, latex-free, dioxin-free, GMO-free, formaldehyde-free, and chemical-free. Natural eco-friendly animal-friendly chemical-free organic hemp kitchen accessories at their purest best!

Please note: we do not use fire retardant chemicals in our organic hemp potholder. If you require fire retardants in your potholder, this is not the product for you.

Care: Best to spot clean, steam clean, or eco dry clean our unique truly natural pot holders & oven mitts. This is because there are many layers of different natural materials in the fill that may shrink at different rates in the washer and may not completely dry in the dryer (since there are so many different variations of washers and dryers out there, we can’t say how yours would affect the oven mitt / pot holder). From our own personal experience and those of customers who have written to us over the years, good results can be had with washing the oven mitt / pot holder in laundry net bags using a gentle biodegradable detergent in core-less machines. To dry, we put the oven mitt/pot holder at medium temperature in the dryer. Once the outer layer of the oven mitt is dry, we turn it inside out to dry the inner layers. This will ensure that no moisture remains in the oven mitt. Please use the washer / dryer at your own risk; we and countless customers have had good experience doing so. If you choose to do this, the first time drying the product in the dryer, please monitor the oven mitt / pot holder regularly to check for shrinkage or any issues that may ensue. The issues to watch out for: washing and drying at too high a temperature or too long may result in shrinkage. If the oven mitt / pot holder is not completely dry and moisture lingers, mold may develop (shrinkage and mold are not claimable product defects). Thank you very much for caring about purity and taking the time to treat your unique oven mitts and pot holders with care.
